A POWERFUL SHIFT
The HX Series is more capable than ever, thanks to the addition of the state-of-the-art International® S13 Integrated Powertrain. Developed from a clean sheet design, the S13 Integrated Powertrain consists of three distinct components – an engine, a transmission and an aftertreatment system – all designed and developed to ensure maximum productivity and reliability. Plus, single and dual transmission PTOs can be installed directly at the factory for order simplicity and expedience. The REPTO and FEPTO options are available without horsepower restrictions.
Being efficient on the jobsite is crucial to the bottom line. Time spent on maintenance, repairs or active regens takes away from the time that could be spent completing the job. The International S13 Integrated Powertrain was designed to be easy to maintain and to save time by eliminating the need for drivers to perform the inconvenient task of active regens. Crews no longer need to stop what they’re doing simply to burn off excess soot. Instead, they can focus on the task at hand.
Launched in 2021, the current-generation HX Series showcases many significant improvements – not least of which is the inclusion of the International® Truck Diamond Logic® electrical system. By streamlining the integration of chassis and body equipment (like lift axles), customers can now program automated tasks with ease, ensuring more consistent performance, increased equipment protection and enhanced crew safety.
