Effective Jan. 1, 2024: International’s People & Culture (P&C) Connection Network is an updated retiree support center with resources for all your benefit needs.

If you have questions or need to make changes to your benefits, call 877-353-5100.

As a first-time caller to this new center, you will be prompted to set up a Personal Identification Number (PIN) with a minimum of six-digits for security purposes. You will also need the last four digits of your social security number, date of birth, and zip code.

Once you have a PIN, remember this number as you will be required to enter it each time you call.

Through the P&C Hub, retirees can request help with their benefits via online appointment scheduling, service requests, phone call or web chat. First time users can create a PIN by phone or within the P&C Hub.

FAQ'S - COVERAGE

  • Do I have hearing and vision coverage? How do I use this benefit?

    If you retired with benefits under the Shy v. Navistar settlement agreement, then yes, you do have hearing and vision coverage.

    For Vision: Contact the Vision Service Plan (VSP) at 1-800-877-7195 for providers, coverage, and claim submission questions.

    For Hearing: Contact TruHearing at 1-833-312-1273 for providers, coverage, and claim submission questions.

  • Do we have legal coverage? We used to have Hyatt Legal.

    If you retired with benefits under the Shy v. Navistar settlement agreement and were a UAW main labor agreement represented employee, you have access to Hyatt Legal. You may contact Hyatt Legal at 1-800-821-6400

  • How do I know if I have health care coverage?

    Please contact our P&C Connection Network at 1-877-353-5100 to verify your eligibility for health care coverage. If you have an ID card, you may also want to call the customer service number located on the back of the card to confirm you are enrolled.

  • How do I obtain income verification?
  • As a surviving family member, how do I change my deceased parent's address?

    Please make sure you have notified the P&C Connection Network of the death by calling 877-353-5100.

  • What do I need to do if I am retired and eligible for Medicare and Social Security benefits due to disability?

    Please contact the P&C Connection Network at 1-877-353-5100. Please have a copy of your awards letter from Social Security available.

  • What do I do if I am switching from Caremark to Silverscript and Silverscript does not have my information?

    First ensure that you have provided the P&C Connection Network with your Medicare ID number. If you have, contact SilverScript’s enrollment support line for newly enrolled members at 1-888-613-7030 and give your Medicare ID number to the customer care rep.

  • How should I handle old checks I found?

    Prior to cashing, please contact the P&C Connection Network at 1-877-353-5100.

  • How do I process a claim that I want to appeal?

    Medical claims: submit in writing to your medical vendor (Aetna, Humana or Health Comp)

    Prescription drugs: submit in writing to your prescription drug administrator. Look at your ID card to determine who that is and use the claim address on the back of the ID card.

    Dental, vision, or hearing benefits (if applicable to you): submit in writing to Delta Dental, VSP, and Tru Hearing, respectively.

    Shy v. Navistar: as a final option, if you are a Shy Plan member, you may file a voluntary appeal to the Health Benefit Plan Committee, c/o the International – P.O. BOX 4080 Lisle, IL 60532.

  • How do I handle a health claim that has not been paid with Aetna?

    Please contact Aetna at 1-800-435-2969. Please have the following when you call:

    • Your Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
    • The provider’s name
    • The date of service
    • Dollar amount of the charges
  • What do I need to do if I had a life event (Marriage/Divorce/Death/Birth/Adoption)?

    Please contact the P&C Connection Network at 1-877-353-5100 to report the life event and determine the documentation needed.

  • Who do I contact if I have questions about receiving or not receiving a 1099?

    Please contact the P&C Connection Network at 1-877-353-5100.

  • Who do I contact if I need to change my address and my direct deposit?

    Please contact the P&C Connection Network at 1-877-353-5100.

  • I need to change my phone number, who do I contact?

    Please contact the P&C Connection Network at 1-877-353-5100.

  • How do I get reimbursed after paying cash for my prescription?

    Contact your prescription administrator (number on the back of your Rx ID card) and ask for a Prescription Drug Reimbursement Claim Form to be sent to you.

  • What do I do if the pharmacy says I don’t have coverage?

    You may contact the customer service number on the back of your Rx (prescription drug) ID card. You can ask the pharmacist to speak to the customer service representative to understand why you were denied (coverage, no refills left, refilling Rx too soon, etc). If they determine that a lack of coverage exists, contact the P&C Connection Network at 1-877-353-5100.
