READY FOR

ANY JOB
A group of trucks parked in front of a city

Whatever the job, the versatile International® MV™ Series truck can help you get it done. Whether you need to deliver packages in a dry van or move maple trees in a landscape truck, fix power lines in a utility bucket truck, transport vehicles safely in a roll-on/roll-off recovery truck or haul gravel in a dump truck, you can build an MV Series truck to the specific needs of your vocation.

Built for productivity

Your fleet works hard, grinding it out on the road every day. The design and features of your trucks have a huge impact on the efficiency of your entire operation. With two Cummins® engine choices, three cab sizes and 4x2 and 6x4 chassis configurations, the MV Series gives you the flexibility and options you need to build the perfect truck for your business.

Making it your own

To keep your crew’s productivity high and your bottom line solid, it’s critical that your trucks are optimized to the unique needs of the job.

The MV Series was designed for easy upfitting thanks to straight frame rails and convenient location of components. The available integral front frame extensions make it easier for body builders to mount equipment like snowplows, winches, and pumps.

The plug-and-play design of the Diamond Logic® electrical system enables body equipment to be easily installed and operated, giving you greater control and streamlining vehicle operation. This results in more consistent functionality and enhanced safety for both equipment and crew.

Keeping things safe

The smart design of MV Series trucks starts with safety. As fleet managers know, driver awareness is the first step to avoiding accidents. The sloped hood of the MV Series provides drivers with greater visibility of pedestrians and obstacles near the front of the truck. This allows them to more safely navigate spaces like crowded streets, tight work sites and busy truck depots.

As truck safety technology evolves, fleet managers have expressed a strong and growing interest in adding advanced driver assistance systems. These systems have shown that they can both help prevent accidents and/or reduce the severity of accidents, which can lead to safer travel, lower insurance costs, and increased uptime.

Blind spots are one of the biggest safety challenges that truck drivers face. The optional Bendix BlindSpotter® side object detection system helps address this risk. The system uses radar technology to provide a 150° range of coverage to detect objects up to 10 feet to the right of the vehicle and fore/aft up to 12 feet. When an object is detected in the coverage zone, drivers get a visual and audible alert.

The MV Series also offers the optional Bendix® Fusion™ collision mitigation system. This system uses radar technology to deliver a variety of safety features, including pedestrian collision warning and braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, over-speed alerts, and more. Fleets using Bendix collision mitigation technologies have reported reductions in rear-end collisions by as much as 90% as well as decreased severity for those that did occur1.

These advanced safety features can be especially helpful for last-mile delivery services in preventing rear-end and stationary object collisions in stop-and-go traffic, as well as for vocational fleets like utilities in reducing the risk of incidents with pedestrians in busy, high-risk locations.

Built for uptime, durability and lower TCO

Let’s face it, work truck cabs endure a lot of rough use throughout the day. With dozens of trips in and out of the truck, floor mats are no match for the muck and grime that gets brought in during construction and other tough vocational work. To fight off the deterioration that can follow on-the-job scratches and punctures, floors and toe kick panels are treated with InterCoat® ChemGuard corrosion protection.

Productivity equates to building your bottom line. The MV Series maintenance schedule is designed to extend the time between service appointments, boosting your uptime, and reducing your total cost of ownership (TCO). With more on-the-job hours in operation, your truck can deliver a greater ROI.

For the Cummins B6.7 engine, oil and filter change intervals are up to 30,000 miles, 1,000 hours, or 18 months, whichever comes first. For the Cummins L9 Engine, oil and filter change intervals are even longer—up to 50,000 miles, 1,500 hours, or 18 months, depending on the duty cycle.

Enhancing driver comfort and performance
The inside of a vehicle

Making sure that your drivers have a comfortable, user-friendly environment to work in is what our DriverFirst™ design approach is all about.

The MV Series provides the space drivers crave during long shifts, thanks to a wider and deeper cab than most medium-duty competitors . The wider cab also allows room for a third front passenger to ride along without knocking knees.

Delivery applications with frequent stops can take a big toll on drivers. The larger doors and greater opening door angle of the MV Series make it easier to enter and exit the cab. In the driver’s seat, the MV Series offers more belly room than competing vehicles , providing a more comfortable driving position.

The Bottom line

Whatever your trade, the MV Series can help your team be more productive. From the Diamond Logic electric system to the corrosion-resistant cold-rolled steel in the cabs, the MV Series is built from the ground up to deliver a superior experience for vocational applications. Find out more about how the MV Series delivers safety, reliability, comfort and a lower TCO.
